Our Legacy of Service
Our story began in the early 1960s when philanthropist Oral Hull discovered a significant gap in services for adults living with sight loss through a conversation with her blind lawyer. This revelation inspired her to take action, and she sold her beautiful 22-acre property to the foundation for just $1, establishing what would become the Hull Foundation and Learning Center for the Blind.
Since 1962, the Hull Foundation has been dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals who are blind or have low vision. We provide social opportunities, educational resources, and adventure retreats that enable participants to experience activities they never thought possible.
